Alcan’s experience is not only versatile but also evolving and our team brings the competency and experience to handle the smallest of commercial projects up to complex multi-million dollar private and government contracts. In addition to our skills, over the years we have established lasting relationships with local architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers making the flow of projects smoother and more efficient.
BUILDING PERFECTION
A local company specializing in a wide range of commercial, residential, and government projects.
In recent years Alcan Builders has completed many projects. Our most recent completed commercial project was our 12.5 million dollar Battalion Headquarters with Classrooms 374B for the Army Corps of Engineers on Ft. Wainwright. We also constructed a 24 million dollar hotel for Princess Tours just outside of Denali Park.
SAFETY FIRST
Alcan Builders, Inc. commits to providing a safe and healthful working environment for all employees, subcontractors, specialists and suppliers on our projects.
Noel Wien Library, Fairbanks
The Noel Wien Library Maintenance Phase I project was a compilation of several individual tasks. The main portion of work consisted of upgrades and replacement of much of the library’s heating and cooling system. The exterior of the building received a facelift of new siding and new paint as well.
Our project ‘Fairbanks Brown Jug’ was completed successfully on time through the extra effort of Alcan, this contractor was the reason we were able to open on time, I would not hesitate to recommend Alcan to all, very professional organization.
Great office staff and field staff as well. Timely on issues and email/phone response. Highly recommend.
Alcan was an excellent general contractor for this project. They demonstrated great customer service and concern for the State’s interests during construction of this new building project. The Truckwash & Brine Facility was a first of its kind for both Alcan and the State of Alaska. Great cooperation and coordination between Alcan, it’s subcontractors and the State resulted in a new building that serves its intended purpose for the State of Alaska.
